Green tea, almonds, spices, milk, and sugar simmered together according to a Kashmiri recipe (sugar not included in chai mix). Also known as gulabi chai (pink tea), this aromatic brew turns pink during brewing because of oxidation. One package makes a 1/2 gallon of chai blend, enough for about one gallon of chai with milk.
