Golden Monkey Supreme

A delicious example of finely crafted Fujian tea! This Golden Monkey is caramel-sweet and exceptionally smooth.  The fine gold leaves yield aromas of dried stone fruit and cacao, well-balanced notes of malt and marshmallow, rounded out by subtle floral notes and a burnt sugar finish. 

Golden Monkey is named for the appearance of the leaves, which resemble monkey claws. A famous variety from Fujian province of China, it is carefully hand-processed each Spring with one or two leaves and one bud plucked from the end of each branch.
